Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

The short version

DelayKit does not collect, sell, track, or transmit personal data. The app has no account system and no backend service. Practice video is processed locally on your device.

Data collection

DelayKit does not collect personal information. Your app settings, delay preferences, free-session cooldown state, and local unlock cache are stored in Apple UserDefaults on your device.

Camera and microphone

DelayKit uses camera access to show a live preview and create delayed playback. DelayKit uses microphone access only to include audio in delayed playback and saved clips. Camera and microphone data are processed on device and are not sent to DelayKit or any server.

Temporary recordings

DelayKit records short temporary video segments on device so delayed playback can work. These temporary segments are deleted automatically when a session ends or when the app cleans up old buffer data.

Saving to Photos

If you choose to save a clip, DelayKit asks for permission to add that saved video to your Photos library. DelayKit does not read your photo library.

Purchases

Lifetime Unlock purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. DelayKit does not receive or store your payment information. Apple’s privacy policy governs App Store purchase processing.

Website privacy

This website is a static site. It does not use cookies, advertising trackers, or embedded analytics scripts.

Changes

If DelayKit’s privacy practices change, this page will be updated before those changes take effect.
